When people start looking at paid online surveys as a way to make money they notice that there are a lot of surveys out there. The question many people have is:
Are all paid surveys the same?
The answer is: No.
There are actually several types of paid online surveys and they can be broken down into 3 categories:
1. Reward and Cash Paid Survey Sites - these are survey sites that host research surveys that pay in cash, gift certificates, or prizes. This is simple – fill out the survey and get paid the reward, which is usually stated what it is before you complete the survey.
2. Sweepstakes Survey Sites – These survey sites offer cash and prize sweepstake entries for taking surveys. For example these sites will enter your name into a draw for a trip or large cash prize after you complete the survey.
3. Paid to Try Offers - They surveys offer you cash to try offers or products. Often these surveys will involve sending you a sample product int he mail and then asking you to try the product and then fill out a survey answering questions about your experience.
