Why do they ask me for my personal information?

By admin On February 28, 2008 Under Online Survey Questions

Welcome to YourOnlineSurveys.com If this is your first time here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. This will notify you when we post new information on Online Surveys. Thanks for visiting!

After you join a survey site, you will be asked to complete a profile which includes details about you, your family, hobbies, interest, and personal habits. The “profile” is one of the most important factors that will determine the type and number of survey invitations received. Everything about you – where you live, whether you have a job or go to school, what kind of car you drive, whether you are single or married, age, sex, etc. – makes up the personal “profile”.

This profile information is then used to match you up with the particular surveys they are offering. Remember all of the sites listed on this site are legitimate market research companies, and your personal data will not be abused. You will not receive spam from these sites. They only send you email when they have survey invitations for you.

Unfortunately some people still don’t trust the internet and are afraid to give all the personal info they need in the profile. Unfortunately we can’t have it both ways… if you want to make money online… you are going to need to develop some trust in the companies you deal with and give up some of your privacy.
